at the Island Club on the

2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M

Appreciation for the 2010 board (especially Tom’s work) was expressed by the membership.

Plans are being made for our Annual Dinner Party at the Orchid Club, on Feb. 19, 2011. Several people volunteered to help with the dinner already. For example: Eileen Leo is getting prices and menus from various catering companies – a big job. Perky & Len Bittner as well as Lou Yaich have volunteered to help with everything from set up to clean up. Jim Nelson volunteered to take care of the Silent Auction … and I’m sure others are going to step forward and offer to help too. We especially need some experienced volunteers to help with the games and the “Pig in a Poke” drawing. If you want, send me an e-mail and I’ll put you on the list.

By the Jan. meeting we hope to have the caterer and costs figured so you can purchase your tickets then. If there’s any change in that I’ll let you know.

Also, 2011 dues are payable at the January meeting. $5 as usual – and that includes your spouse.
